Women’s Initiative for Self-Employment is an organization designed for low-income women who have the potential and interest in becoming business owners. The organization provides training, funding and on-going support for the women that become a part of their program. Once these women complete the program they have the tools necessary to become financially stable and self-sufficient. There are five offices and 18 training locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area with an expansion to New York City and Chicago within the near future.
