Jabez Enterprise Group (JEGroup) Certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)

Dallas, TX – February 2008 – Jabez Enterprise Group (JEGroup) has met the established requirements to be certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) under the criteria and guidelines of the National Supplier Development Council (NSDC) through the Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Council (DFWMBC).

The mission of the NSDC is to help increase procurement and business opportunities for minority businesses.  The Council is comprised of 39 offices, over 3500 corporate members and local and federal sectors, universities and other industry markets and over 15,000 minority businesses nationwide.  Under this certification JEGroup is required to be at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by one or more minority individuals.  Minority individuals are defined as Black, Hispanic, Asian, or Native American.       

According to the DFWMBC “Relationships remain fundamental to sustainable business in the marketplace. People do business with people they know and trust. The D/FW MBC CONNECTS buying entities to D/FW MBC certified qualified suppliers.  D/FW MBC buying entity partners report $2.0 billion dollars in spending annually with minority-owned businesses.  D/FW MBC certified suppliers report over $20 million annually in spending with minority-owned businesses (MBE to MBE transactions).  The Dallas/Fort Worth Minority Business Council is the credible recognized conduit for buyers and end-users sourcing certified minority-owned businesses in North Texas.”
