Vernita Naylor, Founder/CEO, began over 11 years ago providing services as a business consultant; life, business and professional development coach; program/project manager; instructor and motivational speaker for small-medium, minority, women and veteran-owned businesses, non-profit organizations, several educational, media, entertainment industry and other entities.
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING (TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE)
As a former federal government employee (primarily with GSA) of over 25 years she has been able to see how the government operates from government contracting, procurement, leasing, budgeting, programming, commercial real estate, relocation and project and construction management services. Her projects ranged from design build and renovation to repair and alterations for leasing, federal building, courthouse and border station projects that were from 5,000 to over 200,000 square feet and with a value of over $200 million; additionally she exclusively managed the U.S. Marshals monthly reimbursable $7 million budget for Region Nine. After she left GSA she took her passion for helping businesses understand best practices, programs available to now where she helps them to grow their businesses and business development strategies.
This expertise has allowed her the ability to help business owners make the paradigm shift and see things from the inside-out.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Through her working efforts she has been able to maximize exposures for her indie recording artist clients who traveled extensively throughout the United States and collectively have been on the stage with Narada Michael Walden, Carlos Santana, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Bonny Raitt, Bonnie Hayes, Chester Thompson, Joe Zaniwul Tribute Band, Donnie McClurkin and Hezekiah Walker amongst other artists.
In addition to stateside travel, Vernita has also been instrumental in getting one of her artist the ability to travel to Tokyo, Japan with the Edwin and Walter Hawkins’ Music and Arts Love Fellowship Conference (MALFC), perform on stage with the Edwin and Walter Hawkins’ Music and Arts Love Fellowship Choir, Richard Smallwood, Edwin Hawkins, Calvin B. Rhone and within other parts of Tokyo.
